If you are thinking about visiting or moving to the city of Indore, it is a good idea for you to know what the transportation is like here. You do not want to visit a city which you have absolutely no idea of how you will get around, so it is good to know these things beforehand. Here, we will take a closer look. Indore is one of the main commercial railway stations in of western railway. Indore is actually one of the very few cities in India where there is a diamond crossing, or otherwise referred to as a diamond junction, present. There are four different metro trains which are connected to Indore, and it is one of the very few cities which is connected to all major places of India. From Indore, there are trains to Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Pune, Jamma, Nagpur, and Kolkata - just to name a few. The city of Indore is also pretty well connected to other parts of India through national and state highways. Unfortunately, inside the city of Indore, there is a lack of good local transportation. The Nagar servas and tempos are generally very overcrowded and not very comfortable at all. Within the past ten years, the Indore city bus has been launched and covers most of the main places in the city. As you can see, for the most part, the city of Indore has a lot of good external transportation. At the same time, the transportation inside the city is not the best, but it is becoming more and more decent. |
